I haven't always been a designer, but early in college I came to understand that design is central to any communications effort. I put in the work to learn design principles, practice them, and put them to work to tell my clients' stories every day. See some examples below:
Digital Content Manager
I focused on paid and organic social media strategy and oversaw social content development for national tech industry clients. This required regularly communicating campaign progress, updates, and optimization as well as working to generate quality content to maximize performance. In addition, provided constructive feedback to junior team members as a mentor.
Treasure Communications LLC
I provided consultation, management, advisory, strategy, and communications services for various clients including Utah Tech Leads, Silicon Slopes, The Beehive, and Becky Edwards for U.S. Senate, serving as communications director. This includes providing social media, email marketing, media outreach, messaging strategy, branding, design, and more.
US Congress Joint Economic Committee
Director Of Communications
I was charged with all communication strategies and executions for the Joint Economic Committee of the 116th and 117th Congresses.
I developed and executed plans to increase outreach and influence. This often took the form of social media strategy and campaign execution, graphic design, video editing, animation, web design, social media writing, and more.
Donor Relations Manager
I acted as the administrator of all donor records created through development efforts such as events and targeted campaigns. I took the lead in designing and implementing donor recognition opportunities to engage and retain donors and investors. I also administered the implementation of Salesforce as the central communication, policy, and development system in the organization. And I oversaw the Sutherland Internship Program including outreach, recruiting, training, and managing all interns.
Client Relations Manager
I managed the relationship between 33 hopeful adoptive parents and the Adoption.com team and oversaw the creation of specific marketing deliverables produced by a staff of ten employees, increasing company profits by 87% in under three months.
I also acted as the bridge between all Adoption.com clients and our office, managing each account and ensuring all projects were completed to client tastes. I helped deliver products in a timely manner and assisted customers at all levels of the organization to ensure that they were happy with our services.
